Science Instructor

Sis. Medinah is a registered member of the Nation of Islam at Muhammad Mosque Number 7. She was born in New York but currently lives in Northern New Jersey with her husband and children. If she’s not doing science activities with her sons, you can find her traveling the world, indulging in a good book or hanging out with her family!


She has been teaching middle and high school Science for almost 10 years in the public school sector. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor and concentration in secondary education and received her Master’s Degree in Special Education (7-12). In 2020, she became fondly known as the Science.Teacher.Mom for helping homeschooling parents and teachers engage their learners by delivering engaging STEM kits! She enjoys sharing fun, hands-on science activities and experiments with children of all ages. Medinah’s passion is to guide the minds of these young scientists in each classroom by showing them that science can be fun, accessible, and interesting!
